New Hampshires 2014-2015 Winter season was felt by all who lived there. The effects of numerous snow storms lasted late into March. During daily walks I reflected upon the weather and was struck by the icy formation in the slow melting snowbanks. In an effort to capture and understand the snows complex structures I implemented a way to cast the voids that occurred in the banks. I used plaster for the casting and had to dig the object out of the snow bank once it had set. Three Snow Studies are the product of this investigation.
